November brings us together for the Historic Joy Kogawa House Annual General Meeting (AGM). Your participation matters! Come hear updates, share your thoughts, and connect with fellow members.
This season, our programs trace the many ways we tell stories: through names and bodies, recipes and memories, poems and performance. As autumn unfolds, we look forward to welcoming you into shared spaces of reflection, creativity, and community, whether you join us in person at the house, online, or somewhere in between.
As summer winds down, we continue to offer a range of regular events—from poetry jams and music circles to writing workshops and storytelling collections. This month, we feature a special evening with poet Lindi Nolte and the Maza Arts Collective, alongside our regular gatherings.
This May, join us for a month of creative workshops, moving performances, and important conversations. Together, we’ll explore the histories we carry — and the futures we can imagine.
As we move into another exciting season at Historic Joy Kogawa House, we are thrilled to bring you updates on upcoming events and introduce our new writer-in-residence.
