Join writer-in-residence Michael Mirolla for poetry readings on Friday, January 24, 7:30 to 9:30pm
How do you write a pitch letter that stands out? What should you emphasize? How do publishers make their decisions? Longtime publisher and editor-in-chief Michael Mirolla gives practical tips on how to present your work in the best light when pitching to publishers. Participants are encouraged to bring a pitch letter that they have written (work-in-progress welcome) to the workshop, where they will receive feedback.
On Tuesday, October 22, 7:30 to 9pm, Montreal poet, editor, and publisher Marco Fraticelli will present his two latest books of haibun (a combination of haiku and prose).
Join writer-in-residence Chris Urquhart for one or both writing workshops she will be presenting this spring.
Bring your own poems, songs, and reflections on the moon, and on change, for a sharing circle on Monday, March 25, 7:00 to 9:00pm.
