You are invited to Historic Joy Kogawa House for an evening in poetic conversation with Anna Marie Sewell, as she presents performative work from her new book. This new book is offered in a spirit of sharing aloud.

Anna Marie Sewell is a multilingual, multidisciplinary, inter-cultural artist, specializing in poetry for performance. Edmonton’s 4th Poet Laureate

She blogs at prairiepomes.com and has published two books of poetry: Fifth World Drum (Frontenac House, 2009) and For the Changing Moon (Thistledown Press, 2018).

Sewell’s 2019 calendar includes Edmonton Poetry Fest, St. Eugene Writers’ Conference, and Alberta Piano Fest. She’s MacEwan University’s 2019 Writer in Residence, currently building new projects, including video poetry, thanks to Edmonton Artists Trust Fund.
