November at Kogawa House explores identity, transformation, and community storytelling. Writer-in-Residence Holly Timpener leads a workshop blending performance art and personal reflection, while Yanting Qiu’s storytelling sessions celebrate the Marpole community through shared experiences and the creation of a neighborhood cookbook.
Join us this month as we explore creativity, expression, and the path to a livable future.
Exciting week ahead: register for QueerAsian 6 & a book publishing workshop this Wednesday!
Join us in Spanish or in English for writing workshops and a literary reading. All take place before the end of the year, as Chilean Canadian author, poet, educator, and political social activist, Carmen Rodríguez, continues her residency at Historic Joy Kogawa House.
