Join us online on Tuesday, September 15, 7pm – 8pm PDT, for a Zoom social with children’s author Anita Miettunen, who is the September Writer-in-Residence at the Historic Joy Kogawa House. Anita will chat about how she accidentally became a children’s author, getting published, and some tips and insights she’s gained along the way.

She holds two science degrees and a Master of Arts in Children’s Literature (UBC) and serves as the Regional Advisor for the SCBWI Canada West chapter.
