Anita will chat about how she accidentally became a children’s author, getting published, and some tips and insights she’s gained along the way.

Anita Miettunen is the author of the children’s non-fiction book, Big Blue Forever and reviews books for CM: Canadian Review of Materials. She holds two science degrees and a Master of Arts in Children’s Literature (UBC) and serves as the Regional Advisor for the SCBWI Canada West chapter.
