Mythology of Aging: A storytelling workshop for older adults

Your story is important. Give it space to breathe and to live in a warm and supportive atmosphere that allows your creativity to flow.

What: A storytelling workshop for older adults. On Zoom.
When: Sunday, January 16, 2022
Time: 3–4:30pm
Cost: $15 general public or free for members*

Especially designed for elders – you provide the definition – join a workshop where you will be guided through steps to find the power of your story. Your experiences are unlike any other. Your times are unlike any other. Give voice to them.

If available, have with you a drawing, or photograph of a person, place, or thing, or an object, that has significance for you.

Storyteller, playwright, and writer Gail Nyoka will use the depth found in mythological stories as a catalyst for older adults to find and tell their own personal stories in both oral and written form.

One-on-one consultations are available throughout January to help you with presenting your oral or written story. You are invited to share your story and to hear other’s stories at a second event in February.

*To attend this and other workshops free of charge, sign up as an annual member ($25 general or $100 supporting). Members, please request promo code by email at info@kogawahouse.com.
